In the history of the Czech republic there have been many metalliferous mines in its territory. The diversity of ore deposits brought various ways of their extraction. Because of the extraction of ore and non-ore deposits there are still remains of mining activities which influence the landscape and terrain. Nowadays, resource geology focuses mainly on the building materials. Our company and its employees participated in deposits research and creation of databases and also in securing of consequences of past extraction on the landscape. In the field of resource geology our activities include:
SEARCH FOR MINERAL DEPOSITS, THEIR EXPLORATION AND ASSESSMENT OF THE RESERVES:
- preparatory and screening activities
- organization of research works
- geological documentation
- geological mapping
- interpretation of technological, geophysical, geochemical and other data
- resource calculations
- resource classification for exclusive deposits
- final and annual reports
For research works we use wide range of research methods based on various geological disciplines such as geophysics, geochemistry, petrography, mineralogy, paleolontology, etc.
PROCESSING OF GEOLOGICAL DATA FOR USE AND PROTECTION OF DEPOSITS:
- setting conditions for use of mineral deposits
- determination of a protected deposit area
DETECTION AND ELIMINATION OF OLD MINE WORKINGS:
- announcement and documentation of geological conditions
- implementation
We also provide other geological works for mining and mining-like activities according to the Act No. 61/1988 Sb.:
- geological documentation of underground mine workings such as tunnels, utility tunnels, shafts, etc.
- geological documentation during opening and extraction of deposits
