OSTRAVA – Increasing the Capacity of BAZALY Football Stadium – Engineering Geological Survey

From June 2024 to February 2025, the employees of our organization worked on the preparation and implementation of the engineering-geological survey for the planned construction of the new stadium at Na Bazalech. 

Since it was a complex area, the work was carried out in stages. The first step involved research focused on enumeration and characteristics geological, geotechnical, and anthropogenic risks.

The gathered information served as the basis for the design of the first phase of exploratory work, which consisted of indirect geophysical and geochemical methods aimed at detecting anomalies that could indicate the presence of tectonic lines and ruptures.

Subsequently, the project for the second phase of exploratory work was developed, which included direct exploration methods. A total of 15 drilled exploration boreholes were carried out, 8 of which verified the representative core of the Carboniferous substrate and the Jaklovec layers.
