NOŠOVICE – HYUNDAI INDUSTRIAL ZONE

Detailed engineering geological and hydrogeological survey in the area of the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech assembly plant in Nošovice.

The aim of the survey was to provide detailed information on the geological structure of the site, the geotechnical properties of the foundation soils, and the definition of the foundation conditions for individual structures. The survey was carried out through fieldwork, laboratory tests of soil and rock mechanics, in situ tests, and final processing. Additionally, large-scale compaction tests and infiltration tests were conducted. The results of the survey include:

• Classification of geotechnical conditions, 
• Recommendations for the foundation of individual structures of the plant, 
• Proposal for earthworks,
  
• Balance calculation of the volume of water infiltrating in the assessed area.
